To save a configuration, type in a save name and click save. To load or delete a configuration, select one from the drop down menu and click the appropriate button. Configurations you save are not visible to other users and won't be visible if you are using the site on a different device. This feature will not work if your browser is blocking local storage. Crop Share Lease:If you have a lease for which the percent of the crop revenue you receive is different from the percent of the nitrogen fertilizer you pay for, enter that information here. See the glossary for more information.

Applied Nitrogen (Lbs/Acre) This is actual pounds applied nitrogen, not pounds of fertilizer. See glossary for more information.

Soil Nitrate (Lbs/Acre):Nitrate already in the top 3ft. of soil.
Organic Matter (%):The % of OM in the top 6 inches of soil. Generally, higher OM contributes more available nitrogen to the soils.
Yield Goal (Bushels/Acre):Your average spring barley yield. See glossary for more information.
Malt Barley Price ($/Bushel):Price paid per bushel for malt barley. Malt barley prices are often substantially higher than feed barley prices. If only interested in feed barley, set the malt and feed prices to the feed level.
Feed Barley Price ($/Bushel):Price paid per bushel for feed barley, which will be used if barley doesn't make malt grade. Note that feed barley is generally sold as $/cwt. To convert from $/cwt to $/Bushel, divide by 2. If only interested in feed barley, set the malt and feed prices to the feed level.
Nitrogen Price Per Pound of Active Ingredient ($/Lb):Note that price per pound of active ingredient does not typically equal price per pound of fertilizer. See glossary for more information.
Plump Cut Off Percentage (%):Under the plump cut off, barley is considered feed quality.
Protein Cut Off Percentage (%):Over the protein cutoff, barley is considered feed quality.
